In case you missed the memo (email) - we have bittersweet news to share! Megan's Meals is shutting down. This week is the last week to order meals.
It has been such a pleasure to feed you all for the past three years and I am forever grateful for your support. Thank you for trusting us to feed you every week. It is simply time for me to pursue other dreams and build a business that is a little but closer to my heart - and one that is a little sweeter ;)
How does it work?
A new menu is released every Wednesday for the following week.
Place your order by FRIDAY end of day.
Pick up meals on Monday or have them delivered to your door on Tuesday (delivery is subject to availability - please see FAQ)
Enjoy healthy, balanced and delicious meals all week. Just heat and eat!
Menu for the week of September 22nd
A twist on classic shepherds pie with corn, green peas and wild mushroom gravy. Topped with sweet potato mash and served with green beans.
Soy and ginger marinated salmon pieces served with sticky rice, greens, edamame, cucumber, pickled ginger, nori, green onion, sesame and spicy mayo.
Blueberry Cheesecake
Ready to eat oats soaked with chia, almond milk, maple, cinnamon, cinnamon, cottage cheese and vanilla - finished with blueberry compote and toasted almonds
Lemongrass, lime leaf and garlic marinated grilled chicken served with steamed rice, mixed veggies, cilantro and toasted peanuts
Hearty soup with rich tomato and herb broth, mixed vegetables, chickpeas, spinach, chickpea pasta, herbs and parmesan
Roasted herb rubbed pork loin served with stone fruit mostarda, roasted baby potatoes and steamed green beans
Pork meatballs with jalapeno, cheddar and a touch of bacon. Served with homemade ranch, roasted sweet potatoes and steamed veggies.

Please place your orders by Friday at 11:59pm. A new menu will be posted every Wednesday for delivery the following week.

Deliveries are on Tuesday between 9am and 4pm. Pleasure ensure you are home to recieve your order. If you are not home, meal will be left at the door and will need to refrigerated within an hour. Delivery is limited to specific areas for a fee of $6.99.
Pickup is FREE and is available between 5pm-7pm on Monday evenings. The pickup location is in St Henri near the Atwater Market (full address provided at checkout).

At the moment delivery is only to the following neighbourhoods:
St Henri, Verdun, Point St. Charles, Little Burgundy, Griffintown, Old Port, Westmount. You will be able to determine delivery eligibility at checkout.

Meals last 5-6 days under proper refrigeration.

Containers are microwave safe (excluding any sauce containers) and can be heated in the microwave. To heat meals in the oven, transfer the meal to an oven safe container (do not put sauce containers in the oven) and bake at 400F for 8-10 minutes.
All meals should be heated to an internal temperature of 160F.

At the moment, we are unable to accommodate special diets. Please make any notes about dietary restrictions in the order notes and we will do out best to accommodate.
Most meals are gluten free and dairy free unless otherwise specified.

All meals are nutrient dense and macro balanced. Calories vary but each meal contains 150g cooked protein, approximately 250ml carbs and 375ml veggies.
Most meals are made exclusively with olive oil (sometimes sesame), and are refined sugar free. Maple, honey or coconut sugar are the only sweeteners used in sauces/snacks.

Yes. The minimum order is $50 worth of meals and/or snacks.

A passion for food. A passion for health. After a decade of restaurant industry life, Megan left some of the Canada’s top restaurants to combine both. After struggling to find balance between the two, she created MegansMeals to help others do the same, while still living (and eating) well. A certified nutrition coach and trained chef, she cooks up nutritious and balanced meals inspired by her years in restaurant kitchens.
